Congressman Riley invites local stakeholders to share their funding priorities for consideration under the FY27 appropriations process. Please read the information below carefully, and use the forms to submit community project funding or programmatic/language appropriations requests.
Community Project Funding (CPF) Requests
The Community Project Funding (CPF) initiative allows Congress to direct federal resources to high-impact local projects that address critical needs in our community. Eligible applicants include:

State, local, and tribal governments

Publicly owned entities (e.g., ports, universities, public utility districts)

Eligible nonprofit organizations
Full guidance on Community Project Funding, including specific requirements for each subcommittee, is available from the Committee on Appropriations. To ensure the timely consideration of all projects, CPF requests must be submitted no later than Monday, March 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Programmatic and Language Requests
A programmatic request is a request to fund a general federal agency or program at a specified level. A language request is a request for bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action by an agency.
Full guidance on programmatic and language requests is available from the Committee on Appropriations. Programmatic and language requests must be submitted no later than Monday, March 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
