The project will also construct a purpose-built Neighborhood Food Pantry facility to meet the rising food insecurity needs of families in Tompkins County.

Dryden Rail Trail Expansion Project

Ellenville Regional Hospital Advanced CatScan Imaging Project

Request Explanation: This funding would be used to purchase and install a Siemens Somatom X.cite Excel 128-slice CT scanner at Ellenville Regional Hospital (ERH), a designated Critical Access Hospital serving rural Ulster County, NY.  ERH serves approximately 25,000 residents in a medically underserved rural area where no comparable CT imaging exists within 30 miles. The current scanner is technologically limited and experiences periodic downtime that forces the Emergency Department onto diversion multiple times per year, redirecting patients to distant hospitals. The new scanner will eliminate this gap in care, enabling faster and more accurate diagnosis of stroke, traumatic injury, cardiac events, and other emergencies.
