Appropriations Requests

Thank you for your interest in the FY26 appropriations process and for contacting the Office of Congressman Josh Riley.

We invite local stakeholders to share their funding priorities for consideration. Please use the forms below to request Congressman Riley’s support for federal programs or legislative proposals as part of the FY26 appropriations process.

Community Project Funding (CPF) Requests

The Community Project Funding (CPF) initiative allows Congress to direct federal resources to high-impact local projects that address critical needs in our community. Eligible applicants include:

  • State, local, and tribal governments

  • Publicly owned entities (e.g., ports, universities, public utility districts)

  • Eligible nonprofit organizations

NEW: FY26 guidance has been issued and all CPF requests must follow this updated guidance. Please review the materials carefully and submit your request using the form linked below. The deadline to submit CPF requests is 6:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025.

If you previously submitted a CPF request to our office under FY25 guidance, you do not need to resubmit your request—our team will review it under the updated FY26 criteria and alert you if any changes are needed.

An updated FY26 Resource Guide is available here:

Programmatic and Language Requests

A programmatic request is a request to fund a general federal agency or program at a specified level. A language request is a request for bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action by an agency.

Please note that the President’s FY26 budget has not yet been released; if your request is contingent on the budget, please do not submit this form until the budget has been released.
