On the 24th anniversary of September 11th, U.S. Representative Josh Riley (NY-19) announced his co-sponsorship of the bipartisan “9/11 Responder and Survivor Health Funding Correction Act of 2025” (H.R. 1410), legislation to strengthen and secure long-term funding for the World Trade Center Health Program.

Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19) announced today that he has filed an appeal with the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) to reverse its decision approving Central Hudson’s latest rate hike on Hudson Valley families. Riley argues the PSC committed legal errors and failed to protect consumers from the utility monopoly and its foreign parent corporation, Fortis.

U.S. Representative Josh Riley (NY-19) today announced he has sponsored the Ban Corporate PACs Act (H.R. 4799) to end the influence of corporate PACs in American elections. The bill amends federal election law to prohibit for-profit corporations from establishing or operating political action committees (PACs).

U.S. Representative Josh Riley (NY-19) today announced he has sponsored the ReConnecting Rural America Act of 2025 (H.R. 3119), bipartisan legislation to expand affordable, high-speed internet access in rural and underserved communities. The bill amends the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 to establish a permanent ReConnect program to fund rural broadband deployment.

U.S. Representatives Josh Riley (D-NY-19) and Mike Lawler (R-NY-17)  introduced the Increasing Nutrition Access for Seniors Act of 2025, a bipartisan bill to simplify the food stamp program for seniors and individuals with disabilities. The legislation cuts through Washington red tape to make it easier for Upstate New Yorkers and families across the country to get the food assistance they need.
