On the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, Congressman Josh Riley (NY‑19) reaffirmed his commitment to reproductive freedom by cosponsoring the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Ensuring Women’s Right to Reproductive Freedom Act—two bills to restore abortion access and prevent states from criminalizing interstate travel for care.

Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19) today voted to pass S. 331, bipartisan legislation that permanently classifies fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I drugs—the toughest designation under federal law. The bill passed with broad bipartisan support and now heads to the President’s desk.

Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19) announced today his co-sponsorship of the Helping Emergency Responders Overcome Emergency Situations (HEROES) Act (H.R. 3146)—a bipartisan bill that would extend eligibility for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program to include volunteer firefighters and emergency medical responders.
