“The OMB’s directive freezing federal funding is complete bullshit. Upstate New Yorkers work hard and pay our taxes - the least we should expect in return is a government that doesn’t screw us over just to give more handouts to billionaires and big corporations. Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19) has been appointed to the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
Josh will be one of only two members of the New York Congressional delegation to serve on the House Agriculture Committee, which has legislative jurisdiction over the U.S. agriculture industry, forestry, nutrition policy, and rural development. NY-19 is home to thousands of small family farms who will now have a voice on the committee.
